Blaine Public Safety Association on CityScope
Founded in late 2007, the Blaine Public Safety Association (BPSA) is the community's newest volunteer citizens group and perhaps the only one dedicated to looking out for the safety and well being of all. With the encouragement of both the Chiefs of the Blaine Police and Fire Departments as well as the City Council, a group of concerned citizens came together to develop the BPSA with the primary mission: "To enhance public safety in our community"

The Association intends to offer monetary and other support to Blaine's fire, police and safety services agencies. The BPSA's goal will be furthered by the solicitation of contributions that will be used for important safety programs and equipment that may otherwise not be funded.

"We will assist in efforts to reduce the opportunity for crime and to improve the safety of all who live, work or visit the community," said BPSA President Kathy Weinbeck. The following items are currently being discussed in the BPSA's plans, including K9 materials & training, thermal imaging systems, firearms training simulator, video recording systems, memorials, training equipment, SimMan for medical training and crime prevention rewards.

The BPSA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so your contributions are tax deductible.
